Eagles limp into Foxborough for preseason finale — Under 36.5 the sharp play

The Eagles drag their bruised egos into Gillette Stadium after getting boat-raced 7-24 in their last exhibition, and frankly, nobody should care. This is preseason Week 3, the glorified dress rehearsal where Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley will get a quarter of work before Nick Sirianni wraps them in bubble wrap for September. New England's no different — Drake Maye gets his scripted series, then it's backup city for three quarters of punt-fest football.
The market hung 36.5 on this snoozefest, which would require actual NFL offenses to show up. They won't. The Patriots sleepwalked to a 13-13 tie last week with their backups running the show, while Philly's offense looked like it was called by someone's drunk uncle with Andy Dalton and Cole Payton splitting snaps. Now we're supposed to believe third-stringers fighting for practice squad spots will suddenly light up the scoreboard?
The under is the only bet that makes structural sense here. Vanilla playcalling, conservative possessions, guys more worried about making the roster than making highlight reels — this game screams 17-13 final with both fanbases checking their watches by halftime. Bet accordingly.
