Packers-Bucs Total Collapse: Why Sunday's Slog Stays Under 39

Raymond James hosts what might be the ugliest primetime game nobody asked for. The Buccaneers are limping into Week 4 with backup Jalon Daniels under center after Baker Mayfield went down, and the results have been predictably grim—Tampa's averaging a paltry 20.67 points per game while their passing attack has nosedived to a league-worst 205 yards through the air. Meanwhile, Green Bay's offense looks like it's running in quicksand. Jordan Love is pressing, the run game is a disaster at 48.7 yards per contest, and the Packers are somehow scoring even less at 18.67 per outing.

This isn't a defensive slugfest between two juggernauts—it's two broken offenses sputtering against each other. Offensive line injuries on both sides have turned pass protection into a suggestion rather than a reality, and neither coaching staff has found answers through three weeks. The market opened this total at 39.5 and has already ticked down to 39.0, but even that feels generous given the personnel situations.

DarkHorse is backing the under 39.0 with strong confidence, and it's hard to argue. When two teams combine for fewer than 40 points per game on average, expecting them to suddenly discover rhythm against each other is wishful thinking. Fade the points, embrace the punt fest.
