The Chargers are circling the drain at 0-4, and Sunday's visit from Denver might just flush them for good. LA's injury report reads like a coroner's list—Joe Alt, Derwin James Jr., and Donte Jackson all sidelined—leaving both trenches and the secondary held together with duct tape and prayer. They're averaging a pathetic 16.75 points per game, and now they've got to block a Broncos front that smells blood.

Denver, meanwhile, rolls in with Bo Nix orchestrating an offense that should feast on a Chargers defense hemorrhaging 26.5 per contest. J.K. Dobbins and Jaylen Waddle give Nix the weapons to exploit every gap in this Swiss-cheese secondary, and with LA's offensive line in shambles, the Chargers won't possess the ball long enough to make it competitive.

Yeah, it's a divisional game, and those tend to play tighter than the spread suggests. But there's "divisional grit" and then there's "walking wounded getting steamrolled." The DarkHorse pick is Broncos -3.5, and frankly, it feels light. Denver should control this wire-to-wire. Lay the points and don't overthink it—the Chargers are cooked.
