Raiders Roll Into Foxborough With All the Angles

The Raiders swagger into New England on Sunday carrying a 2-0 road record and averaging over 30 points per game away from home, while the Patriots limp along at 16.25 PPG through their first four contests. That 12.5-point offensive gap tells most of the story, but here's the kicker: New England's secondary is a MASH unit. Both starting corners—Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III—are out, leaving Kirk Cousins facing what amounts to practice squad depth in the defensive backfield.

Vegas has been surgical on the road, allowing just 20.5 PPG while putting up video game numbers. The Patriots' defense has been stout overall (19.25 PPG allowed), but that was with their top cover guys healthy. Good luck stopping anyone without them.

The market agrees this is closer than the spread suggests. Sharp money has nudged the Raiders' moneyline from +160 to +155, and the no-vig probabilities essentially call this a toss-up despite New England playing at home. When you're getting 3.5 points with the team that scores more, allows less, and catches the opponent at their most vulnerable? That's the definition of an edge.

DarkHorse likes Las Vegas +3.5 in what should be a comfortable cover, possibly an outright heist.
