Bears limp into Atlanta as favorites, but the smart money isn't buying it

Chicago rolls into Mercedes-Benz as a slim one-point favorite, but this line tells a story the public isn't hearing. We opened at Bears -3.5; it's been hammered down to -1 despite Caleb Williams suiting up. That's sharp action, folks, and it's all on Atlanta.

Here's the twist: the Falcons are a Jekyll-and-Hyde outfit. They've been dreadful at home—0-2, averaging a pathetic 13 points per game in their own building. But on the road? They're 2-1, dropping 31 per contest. Go figure. That home ineptitude has the betting market undervaluing them, and we're buying the discount.

Chicago's defense has been respectable at 19.2 points allowed per game, but they're walking wounded. T.J. Edwards and Keyshaun Elliott are out, and Montez Sweat is suspended. That's a gutted front seven facing Bijan Robinson and an Atlanta ground game churning out 166.8 yards per contest. Good luck stopping that rotation with a skeleton crew.

The Falcons have shown they can score when the lights aren't on them at home. With Chicago's defense compromised and the line screaming value, we're riding Atlanta +1 in what should be a coin-flip game. Confidence is moderate at 3/5, but the sharp money rarely lies.
