The Angels are licking their wounds after dropping a 6-5 nail-biter to the Nationals yesterday, a game where DarkHorse's Angels pick at -105 went sideways in painful fashion. Now they've got to dust themselves off and try again in the nation's capital, where nothing comes easy.

Washington caught lightning in a bottle last night, scratching across just enough runs to steal one at home. The question is whether the Nats can bottle that magic twice in a row or if the Halos finally tighten up and grab the series split they came for. Both clubs are playing out the string at this point in September, but pride still matters, especially after a tough one-run loss.

The Angels have more pure talent on paper, but talent doesn't always show up when you're fighting through the dog days of a lost season. The Nationals, meanwhile, are scrappy enough at home to make any opponent work for it. Yesterday's result proved that much.

DarkHorse hasn't released a pick yet for this one, which tells you the line probably isn't screaming value either way. Keep your eyes peeled for when the sharp money declares itself. This matchup feels like a coin flip until we see who's actually on the bump.
