If you enjoyed yesterday's 2-0 Cardinals snoozer, buckle up for round two. Zack Wheeler takes the ball for Philadelphia riding a dominant season (2.69 ERA, 0.98 WHIP) against Kyle Leahy, who's been quietly effective himself at 3.45 ERA. That's a combined starter ERA under 3.10 — exactly the kind of mound superiority that makes bettors yawn their way to the window.

The offensive context makes this even uglier. St. Louis is trotting out a lineup littered with sub-.700 OPS bats who couldn't solve Philly pitching last night. Meanwhile, the Phillies counter with Luis Arraez — yes, that Luis Arraez — somehow hitting .190 with a .540 OPS. When your table-setter looks like he borrowed his swing from a beer league, you've got problems.

Wheeler's strikeout arsenal (10.77 K/9) should carve through this Cardinals lineup like it owes him money, while Leahy has enough control to keep Philadelphia's punchless attack in check. DarkHorse is hammering the UNDER 8.0 with 4/5 confidence, and it's hard to argue after watching these teams combine for two runs across nine innings yesterday. This series has "pitchers' duel" written all over it. Load up the under before the number drops further.
