DarkHorse swung and missed on the -115 line, and frankly, Philadelphia looked every bit like a team that forgot how to hit with runners in scoring position. Seattle's bats woke up in a big way, and now the Mariners have all the momentum heading into tonight's series finale.

The question is whether Philly can salvage any dignity before flying home. They've got the talent to bounce back, but getting embarrassed on the road has a way of lingering, especially when you're staring down a motivated Mariners squad that just remembered they can score runs in bunches. Seattle's pitching staff has been stingy all year, and if they get even a fraction of that offensive support again, the Phillies are in serious trouble.
