The Cubs just took care of business Saturday night, cashing as -140 favorites in a 5-2 win that had DarkHorse backers celebrating before the late innings even started. Now they're back at Great American Ball Park on Sunday looking to complete the weekend sweep of a Reds squad that's running out of answers.

Cincinnati's lineup managed just two runs yesterday, and unless something drastic changes overnight, they're staring down another afternoon of frustration. The Cubs have the momentum, the better bullpen depth this late in September, and—most importantly—they just proved they can handle this matchup when money's on the line.

The Reds are playing out the string at this point, while Chicago still has postseason positioning to sort out. That's the kind of motivational edge that shows up in September baseball, especially in day games after a night win. The home crowd won't save Cincinnati here—Great American is a launching pad that cuts both ways, and the Cubs have shown they can take advantage.

DarkHorse hasn't published a pick yet for Sunday's finale, but after watching the Cubs control yesterday's game from the fourth inning on, it's hard to imagine them letting this series slip away. The value might be gone, but the result shouldn't be in doubt.
