Orioles-Twins Over 9 Looks Ripe After Wednesday's Snoozer

Wednesday's 5-2 snoozefest cost us an Over ticket, but Thursday's rematch screams redemption. The Stable is riding OVER 9.0 with solid confidence, and the matchup math checks out hard.

Start with the arms: Matthews takes the ball for Baltimore sporting a bloated 5.23 ERA, while Minnesota counters with Baz at 3.76. Average those starters together and you're staring at 4.50—a glaring red flag for run prevention. Matthews has been batting practice lately, and Baz isn't exactly painting corners either.

Then there's the bullpen carnage. Both clubs are grinding through their seventh straight day of baseball, which means the relief corps are running on fumes. Minnesota's pen is particularly shredded—Banda and Lopez both on the IL, and their season ERA of 4.59 suggests late-game fireworks are in play. Baltimore's relievers aren't fresh either after yesterday's workload.

The Twins' offense showed life in the series opener before going quiet last night, but facing Matthews should wake those bats back up. Meanwhile, Baltimore has been scrappy enough to push runs across even in losses.

We're backing the Over 9 here. Tired arms, suspect starters, and a pace-of-play grind that favors offense. Let's cash this one and forget about Wednesday.
