The Nationals rolled into Globe Life Field and absolutely smothered the Rangers in a 6-0 shutout that was never remotely competitive. Washington's pitching staff carved up Texas hitters like they were facing batting practice, posting the bagel on the scoreboard while the offense did just enough damage to turn this into a laugher.

The Rangers' bats went ice cold when it mattered, stranding runners and flailing at pitches they had no business chasing. Meanwhile, the Nationals manufactured runs with timely hitting and capitalized on every mistake Texas handed them. By the middle innings, this one felt over, and the Rangers never mounted anything resembling a threat.

Washington's hurlers deserve the lion's share of credit here—complete domination from first pitch to last out. The Rangers looked lifeless, swinging through fastballs and chasing breaking balls in the dirt like a last-place club that forgot how to compete. Six runs might not sound like a massacre, but when you pair it with a shutout, it's an absolute statement win on the road.

DarkHorse didn't publish a pick on this one, so no victory laps or mea culpas today. Just a clean Nationals win and a Rangers squad that needs to figure things out fast before this becomes a habit.
