The White Sox waltz back into Minute Maid Park with some swagger after shellacking the Astros 12-3 in their last meeting just over a month ago. That wasn't a fluke—it was a statement. DarkHorse nailed the White Sox at -108 that night, and Chicago made it look easy, dismantling Houston's pitching staff and reminding everyone they can hang with the big boys when they're locked in.

Now here we are again, late August, pennant races heating up, and the Astros have home-field advantage but also some lingering questions about whether they can handle a White Sox squad that's proven it can exploit their weaknesses. Houston's bats need to wake up after getting embarrassed last time, and their rotation better show up with something sharper than what Chicago teed off on in July.

The White Sox aren't here to play nice. They've got momentum, they've got confidence from that blowout, and they're not intimidated by the Houston mystique. The Astros, meanwhile, need to prove that loss was an aberration and not a blueprint for how this matchup plays out down the stretch.

DarkHorse hasn't dropped a pick yet for this one, but don't be shocked if the sharps lean toward the team that already proved it can dominate this series. Chicago's got Houston's number until proven otherwise.
