Guardians Roll Into Baltimore Looking to Extend September Surge Against Fading O's

The Guardians head to Camden Yards riding whatever momentum they've built through the first week of September, while the Orioles try to shake off what's been a forgettable stretch. These two last met way back in mid-April when Cleveland put up eight runs in Baltimore, turning DarkHorse's Under call into an expensive lesson in offensive explosions. That was five months ago, though, and September baseball is a different animal entirely.

Cleveland's pitching staff has been their calling card all season, and if they can keep Baltimore's bats in check, they'll have every chance to steal a road win in a tough AL East venue. The Orioles counter with home-field advantage and a lineup that can still do damage when locked in, but consistency has been the issue lately.

Without a published DarkHorse pick yet, we're flying blind on the sharps' lean here, but the matchup screams low-scoring grind if Cleveland's arms show up. Baltimore needs to find some late-season life fast, or this series could get ugly in a hurry. The Guardians didn't come to the East Coast to play nice—they're here to take names and cash tickets.
