The Braves are licking their wounds after getting thoroughly dismantled 7-2 by Tampa Bay last night, and now they've got to turn around and face these pesky Rays again. Atlanta's bats went ice cold when it mattered, and their pitching staff got carved up like Thanksgiving turkey. Not exactly the performance you want heading into a quick turnaround spot.

Tampa Bay, meanwhile, is riding high after putting five runs on the board and cruising to an easy victory. The Rays have been opportunistic all season, and they just proved they can walk into Truist Park and take care of business. The question is whether they've got enough left in the tank to make it two straight, or if Atlanta finally wakes up and remembers they're supposed to be the home favorite.

This is a classic "how will the home team respond" situation. The Braves have the talent to flip the script, but momentum is a real thing in baseball, and right now it's wearing Tampa Bay colors. Atlanta needs their ace to step up and their lineup to remember how to string together competitive at-bats. Otherwise, this could get ugly in a hurry. DarkHorse hasn't weighed in yet, but the smart money is watching closely to see if Atlanta's pride kicks in or if the Rays keep rolling.
