The Dodgers took the series opener 2-1 on Thursday, and now they're wheeling out Blake Snell fresh off the IL to slam the door on a Tigers squad that can't buy a run. Detroit has managed just 3.2 runs per game over their last 10 contests, stumbling to a 2-8 record in that stretch, and while Keider Montero has been quietly effective (3.30 ERA, 1.00 WHIP), he's not the guy you want matched up against a Snell who's been dominant when healthy. The lefty brings a 2.57 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 11-plus strikeouts per nine into a ballpark where the Tigers' bats look overmatched.

Los Angeles has the offensive firepower to make life easier on their ace — Freeman and Muncy both sporting OPS north of .800, and the lineup averaging better than four runs per game over the last two weeks. The Dodgers are 9-6 in their last 15 with a positive run differential; Detroit is circling the drain at home. DarkHorse is backing the Dodgers moneyline with moderate confidence, and it's hard to argue. Snell's stuff against this punchless lineup feels like a mismatch, and LA has already proven they can win tight in Comerica. Lay the juice and ride the better arm.
