The Tigers rolled into T-Mobile Park and absolutely dismantled the Mariners, cruising to an 8-0 shutout that was never remotely competitive. Detroit's bats came alive early and often, staking their pitching staff to a comfortable cushion that turned this one into a laugher by the middle innings.

Seattle's offense was nonexistent—blanked on their own turf in embarrassing fashion. Whatever the Mariners were trying to accomplish at the plate simply didn't happen, as Detroit's pitching staff carved through the lineup with ruthless efficiency. A shutout on home soil is never a good look, and this one stings extra given how thoroughly they were outclassed.

The Tigers didn't just win—they dominated. Eight runs is more than enough to make a statement, and the complete shutout adds an exclamation point. Detroit's pitching staff deserves serious credit for keeping Seattle off the board entirely, while the offense did the heavy lifting with timely hitting that buried the home squad early.

DarkHorse didn't weigh in on this one, which is probably just as well. Sometimes you let the lopsided beatdowns speak for themselves. The Tigers made their statement loud and clear: they came to Seattle and took care of business without breaking a sweat.
