Sporting Kansas City arrives at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night carrying the kind of road form that makes bettors salivate. At 1-7 away from home, SKC has been an absolute disaster outside Kansas City, bleeding 3.25 goals per road game while mustering a pathetic 0.62 in attack. This isn't variance—it's structural collapse. Their 2.151 xGA per game tells you everything: they can't defend, period, and it gets exponentially worse when they travel.

FC Dallas, meanwhile, has been quietly excellent at home, powered by underlying metrics that dwarf their visitors. Dallas generates 1.679 xGF per game compared to Sporting's anemic 1.011, and their defensive process (1.365 xGA) is nearly a full goal per game tighter than SKC's train wreck backline. The home side is converting chances at a healthy clip—1.86 actual goals per game—so this isn't some xG mirage waiting to regress.

DarkHorse is backing Dallas -1.5 with strong confidence, and it's hard to argue. When a team that can't score on the road meets a team that can't stop conceding on the road, the math gets simple. Sporting KC has shown zero ability to compete away from home this season, and Dallas has the firepower to exploit every crack. Expect a comfortable home win.
