The Islanders limp back to Madison Square Garden nursing a 6-1 beatdown from eleven days ago, but the script has flipped dramatically. That September embarrassment came with the Rangers firing on all cylinders at home—they've averaged 4.5 goals per game at MSG this season. Problem is, New York just played four games in seven nights and their offense turns into a pumpkin on the road, managing just one goal per game away from Broadway.

More importantly, Igor Shesterkin isn't getting the call. Dylan Garand makes his second career start despite posting a perfect save percentage in his debut—cute stat, adorable sample size. Meanwhile, Ilya Sorokin is absolutely dialed in with a .968 save percentage and 1.02 GAA through two starts. The Islanders are humming offensively at 3.5 goals per game, and they're catching a gassed Rangers squad leaning on a goaltender with roughly 60 minutes of NHL experience.

DarkHorse likes the Islanders at +125, and frankly, the value screams. You're getting plus-money on the better goaltender, the fresher team, and an offense that's been consistently productive. The Rangers' home dominance matters less when their backup is trying to steal one on fumes. Revenge tastes sweeter with Sorokin in the crease.
