The Blues host Winnipeg on Tuesday in a matchup that looks a lot closer than the -145 home chalk suggests. Both teams are treading water early—identical goal differentials through eight games—but the Jets have quietly been the sharper road outfit (2-1, outscoring opponents 9-8 away from home) while St. Louis has been porous at Enterprise Center, surrendering 3.5 goals per game overall and managing just a 1-1 home record.

Goaltending is a wash. Joel Hofer and Stuart Skinner are carbon copies on the season: both sitting at .906 save percentage, both leaking goals at a similar clip. Neither side has a rest advantage—three days off, three games in the past week for each. So why are we laying nearly a goal and a half on the Blues? Beats us.

Winnipeg's road splits are actually better than St. Louis's home numbers, and at +118 the Jets offer a clean value angle in a coin-flip game. This isn't a mortgage-the-house spot—samples are still small, and these teams are genuinely close—but when the market misprices a toss-up this badly, you take the plus-money. Light stake, eyes open, but the Jets moneyline at +118 is the sharp side of a game that should be priced much tighter.
