Red Sox Roll Again? White Sox Limp Into Fenway After Another Beatdown

The White Sox just got boat-raced 14-2 at Fenway last night, and now they're supposed to bounce back against Sonny Gray? Good luck with that. Gray brings a 2.93 ERA and 1.17 WHIP to the hill, and while Sean Burke's 3.04 ERA looks respectable on paper, he's walking into a buzzsaw. Boston has won six straight, they've swept all four meetings with Chicago this season by an absurd 7.25-1.0 run differential per game, and Fenway has been a house of horrors for the South Siders.

This isn't rocket science. The Red Sox have won eight of their last ten at home, and the White Sox look like a team that just wants the bus ride out of town. Gray's edge on the mound isn't overwhelming, but it doesn't need to be when your offense is this locked in and the opponent is this demoralized. DarkHorse is riding the hot hand at Red Sox -120, a line that implies 54.5% win probability but feels more like a formality given the season series dominance. Chicago needs to prove they can even compete in this building before we give them any respect. Until then, fade the visitors and cash tickets.
