The Diamondbacks roll into Truist Park on Friday night facing a Braves squad that's been absolutely mashing lately. Atlanta's lineup has been relentless, and playing at home only amplifies their firepower. Arizona will need their pitching staff to execute perfectly, because giving the Braves any extra baserunners in this ballpark is a recipe for a long evening.

The D-backs have shown flashes of competitiveness on the road, but consistency has been their Achilles' heel. They'll need their bats to wake up early against Atlanta's starter, who's been effective at limiting damage through the heart of opposing orders. If Arizona falls behind, chasing runs in this venue against a deep Braves bullpen becomes a nightmare scenario.

Atlanta's home-field advantage is real. The crowd gets loud, the humidity plays havoc with visiting arms, and that short porch in right field has a way of turning warning-track fly balls into souvenirs. The Braves are rightfully favored here, and they know how to step on throats when they smell blood.

For Arizona, this is about proving they can hang with contenders in hostile territory. For Atlanta, it's another opportunity to pad the division lead and remind everyone why they're perennial October players. Expect the Braves to impose their will early and often.
