The Bronx Bombers are one win away from a three-game sweep of Atlanta, and they're sending out their best arm to finish the job. Cam Schlittler takes the hill with video-game numbers — 2.26 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, striking out 11 per nine — facing a Braves squad that's been held to just three runs total in two losses. Grant Holmes counters for Atlanta, and while he's been serviceable, his 3.67 ERA and pedestrian strikeout rate don't inspire confidence against a Yankees lineup that's found its timing.

Here's the rub: the Braves are objectively the better hitting team. Matt Olson and company boast a .250 team average and superior OPS numbers compared to New York's .231 mark. They've also been hot lately at 10-5 in their last fifteen. But baseball isn't played on spreadsheets — it's played on the mound, and Schlittler represents a massive pitching advantage that the market isn't fully respecting at -142.

DarkHorse likes the Yankees at that number, projecting their true win probability north of 60% when you factor in Schlittler's dominance and home-field edge. We whiffed on Atlanta yesterday, but sometimes you have to fade the better offense when the pitching gap is this wide. Lay the short price and trust the arm.
