Rays and A's Go Low After Yesterday's Slugfest?

After Monday's 10-6 barn-burner that cashed our Rays moneyline, we're flipping the script and riding the under at 10.0 runs. Yeah, yesterday was a track meet, but context is king here. Nick Martinez takes the ball for Tampa Bay sporting a pristine 2.65 ERA and 1.10 WHIP—the kind of numbers that make opposing lineups look silly. He's facing an Oakland offense that's been comatose lately, plating just 3.73 runs per game over their last 15 and limping to a .243 average with a pathetic .68 OPS at the Coliseum.
Sure, Mason Barnett's 5.56 ERA for the A's screams "batting practice," but the Rays aren't exactly world-beaters themselves at 3.12 runs per game at home. More importantly, Tampa's bullpen (3.70 ERA) is rock-solid and should clean up any mess Barnett leaves behind. The A's pen will need to be sharp too, because Martinez should hand them a deficit early and often.
Yesterday's fireworks were fun, but Martinez is the great equalizer here. When an ace faces a lineup this cold and the opposing starter is this hittable yet backed by competent relief, the under becomes the sharp play. We're banking on Martinez dominance and just enough bullpen competence to keep this one in the single digits.
