Clippers Getting Disrespected at Home Against Road-Weary Raptors

The Clippers are catching 5.5 points at home against a Raptors squad that looks far more imposing on paper than on the road. Both teams are grinding through back-to-backs, so throw out any rest-advantage narratives—this one comes down to venue and recent form, and both favor LA.

Toronto's 4-1 record is shiny, but peel back the curtain and you'll find a 1-2 road mark with defensive cracks showing (116.67 points against away from home, 114.0 over their last five). Meanwhile, the Clippers have been scrappy at home—1-1 with a stout 99.5 points allowed per game in their own building. That's a meaningful gap when you're getting nearly six points.

Darius Garland is averaging 22 per night and gives LA enough firepower to hang around, even if they don't win outright. Home court is worth at least 2.5 to 3 points in any NBA market analysis, which makes this spread look bloated by Toronto's small-sample excellence. The Raptors took the first meeting back in October, 114-106, but that was in a different context without this inflated number.

DarkHorse likes Clippers +5.5 here—moderate confidence, but the value is clear. LA doesn't need to win; they just need to show up, and at home on a short week, they will.
