The Panthers roll into Chicago on Sunday looking to pad their record against a Blackhawks squad that's still finding its identity in year whatever of the rebuild. Florida comes in as heavy favorites, and frankly, it's hard to argue with the market here.

Chicago's been stuck in no-man's-land for what feels like a decade now, and while Connor Bedard gives them a pulse, one generational talent doesn't transform a roster overnight. The Blackhawks are still leaking goals at an alarming rate and struggling to generate consistent offense beyond their top line. The United Center crowd will show up hoping for magic, but hope isn't a defensive system.

Meanwhile, the Panthers are rolling with the same championship DNA that got them to the mountaintop. Their depth is absurd, their special teams are clicking, and they've got the kind of veteran poise that eats rebuilding teams for breakfast. Florida's forecheck should overwhelm Chicago's shaky defensive corps, and Bobrovsky—when he's dialed in—gives them a massive edge in net.

The Blackhawks will have their moments, maybe catch Florida napping for a period, but this feels like a comfortable road win for the Cats. Expect Florida to control possession, cash in on the power play, and cruise to two points. Chicago's rebuild marches on.
