The Ducks visit Edmonton on November 5, and the last time these two met, the Oilers made a statement. On October 7, Edmonton rolled to a 5-2 win, and our Oilers moneyline call on that game cashed. That's the main history we have to work with, so it's worth remembering how that one went: Edmonton handled business at home and never let the Ducks get comfortable.

For Anaheim, the task is clear. They need to tighten things up and play a cleaner, more disciplined game than they did in October if they want a different outcome. Edmonton, meanwhile, has every reason to feel good about its own building, and a repeat of that earlier performance would keep a lot of bettors happy.

We haven't published an official pick on this one yet, so there's nothing to chase just yet. Check the lineups closer to puck drop, keep an eye on how the line moves, and see how the first period shapes up. Stay tuned to The Stable for the full breakdown before the game starts.
