Bears bring rest advantage into Seattle's injury mess

The Bears roll into Lumen Field on Monday night carrying momentum, rest, and a matchup that screams value. Chicago's had 11 days to prepare after back-to-back wins, while Seattle's working on a short week following their Sunday slate. That three-day gap matters, especially when you're facing a Bears defense that's been stingy all season at 20.43 points allowed per game.

Seattle's got problems. Starting left tackle Charles Cross is out, and they've lost speedster Rashid Shaheed from the receiving corps. That's a brutal combination when you're trying to protect against a Chicago front that's been feasting lately. The Seahawks offense has been decent at 24.0 PPG, but the Bears counter with 25.71 on their end—they're not just defending well, they're putting up points.

The market has this nearly even at 51.5-48.5, but that feels lazy given the circumstances. Chicago's getting three points with superior rest, better recent form, and facing a banged-up offensive line that can't afford more issues. The Seahawks faithful will bring noise, but this Bears squad has the situational edges that sharp money should love. Take Chicago +3 and trust the rest-versus-chaos angle. This number should be lower.
