Seattle rolls into the Saddledome riding high after taking the first meeting 4-3 just a week ago, and the Kraken have every reason to feel good about their chances in this rematch. Calgary's been unable to solve whatever Seattle's throwing at them lately, and that's a problem when you're playing catch-up at home.
The Flames need to figure out their defensive structure fast. Giving up four goals to a Kraken squad that's still finding its identity offensively? That's not going to cut it in the Pacific Division. Seattle's going to come in with confidence, knowing they've already cracked the code on Calgary's goaltending and can generate quality chances when it matters.
Calgary's got the home-ice advantage and presumably some wounded pride to play for, but pride doesn't kill penalties or stop odd-man rushes. The Flames need to tighten up their neutral zone and stop giving Seattle's speed merchants easy entries. If they play the same loose game they did last week, this one's going to get ugly.
The Kraken are the sharper team right now, plain and simple. They've got momentum, they've got the recent head-to-head win, and they're walking into a building where Calgary's still trying to find its footing. Take Seattle to make it two straight over the Flames.
